More money will soon be approved for spending on housing in an illegal occupation of a disputed area in Jerusalem. All the while, a cease fire continues to evade residents in the disputed areas.
This is according to a report in the New York Times published this Christmas Eve and written by Isabel Kershner entitled Israeli Housing Plan Casts Pall Over Peace Talks.

At the end of the Africa-Europe talks in Lisbon, President of Senegal had this to say concerning the much touted agreements between "equals" (E.P.A.'s)
“It’s clear that Africa rejects the E.P.A.’s,” President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal said at a news conference, claiming the support of the president of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki. “We are not talking any more about E.P.A.’s; we’ve rejected them.” [nytimes]
Reading this statement gives me renewed hope that Africa is on her way to recovery. It doesn't surprise me that Mbeki himself didn't have the testicular wherewithal to say this himself, leaving it instead to his Senegalese counterpart to do the honours alone. To his credit, he IS making headway in as much as the British experiment with independent Zimbabwe is being made to flounder. It is time our leaders acted provocatively. Their statements need to court controversy, instead of secret winks in board rooms. The electorate need to be involved in the dialogue. Hearing our leaders make statements abroad and face the music when they do so, will be the first step in raising public awareness to issues such as these. I am doubtful if the Senegalese president's statement will make the domestic papers (in Azania), and even if it does, it will not capture the audience as much as the same statement would have, had it been made by Mbeki himself. To his further "credit", Mbeki does face significant domestic pressure. This pressure comes as part of the package, being a "leader" with the kind permission of his zionist benefactors. He can only continue his engagements in Harare, due to the more or less independent security team that comes with the office of president. He and his cabinet are some of the few who can engage in foreign affairs in this way and get away with their lives. I continue to wonder if even they know the dangers posed to them by the gangsters who effectively run the stock exchanges in Johannesburg and Tel Aviv.
Concerning the Lisbon affair, it is obvious to anyone who is not a pathetic victim of the pro zionist African Nationalist propaganda machine, that we are not equals to the one's who effectively run our economy from London, New York and other neo-colonial economic centers.
There can be no freedom without equality. And no deals between a master and slave can be equitable. Equality begins with genuine autonomy. And sadly, such autonomy can only come after open conflict and when the nation can defend itself from military attack. It would place African people in good stead to strengthen trade partnerships with friendly governments, as well as to acquire military capabilities of the their own and to secure reliable international alliances of the kind that would offer military support if we are attacked by Europe or America. These are the prerequisites to signing any deals with gangsters. Who goes to gang land unarmed is a fool.
It would be better if no deals were signed to begin with. Sanctions are in effect an open arrangement that display the real undercurrents to our dealings with thugs. Sanctions are a blessing; free trade deals are a curse. By disguising their true purposes, FTA/EPA's, lull the public into acquiescence, whereas hostile policies like sanctions, promote domestic policies that confront the enemy and deal with the situation by the horns. Of course, such a domestic situation will be complex to begin with. We see open conflict in Zimbabwe. There are some who will be misled into partnerships, believing as they do, the promises made to them by a middle class elite who lead the way in such deals. Even the current situation of the tip toeing regime in Pretoria is testimony to the nature of this dynamic. I would argue that Zimbabweans are more fortunate than Azanians, due to the fact that they are more mature and politically organised than their southern brothers. Not least of all, it is far safer to walk the streets of Harare than it is to walk in Johannesburg by day.
Reading about these E.P.A.'s reminded me of a protest I witnessed here recently. The noble citizens of the nation of South Korea were all in a flurry, rising up to oppose the Free Trade Agreement being touted by their colonial masters. The agreements went through all the same, but some head way was made by having at least raised the pitch of the public outcry. Out of this, perhaps the public will organise further organs to put their concerns forward. The political immaturity of Africans under nationalist rule in places like Johannesburg, on the other hand, result in the large majority continuing blissfully to plan the next soccer world cup tournament. Such are worthy distractions. As much as the legendary trinkets they sold us on the sandy shores of the Cape of Good Hope were worthy distractions too.
If you have been isolated from world events due to media lock down and misinformation, you may still be unaware of the history and significance of International Qods day. You can read about events leading up to Friday's events at qodsna.com
The IPO announcement concerning this year's Qods Day appeared in Tehran Times:
The Coordination Council of the Islamic Propagation Organization (IPO) said in a statement that the International Qods Day will be held on the fourth Friday of the holy month.
The International Qods Day is observed in all Islamic nations to demonstrate the support of Muslims worldwide for the Palestinian people suffering from occupation and hardship.
Millions of people take to streets on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan calling for an end to occupation of Palestinian territories.
Continued occupation of the Palestinian territories sparked popular resistance to the occupation forces to the extent that with every day passing, the young Palestinian people are shot dead by Israeli troops.
The international community's call for Israeli immediate withdrawal from the Palestinian territories has fallen to deaf ears of the Zionist regime (Tehran Times)
Tehrani Jewish community (TJC) on Tuesday called for Iranians to take part massively in the International Qods Day rallies on October 5.
In a statement, a copy of which was made available to IRNA on Tuesday, TJC referred to the Qods Day as the day of solidarity of the world people and Muslims for the cause of defending Qods and rights of the oppressed Palestinian nation.
It said that Qods day is a sign of love and interest, of the followers of divine religions, in holy Qods, that is respected by all monotheists.
It added that on the day, nations show resentment to violence and suppression of the brave Palestinian nation [IRNA, Oct 2nd 2007].
Earlier this year, the Iranian Jewish community responded to zionist invitations in this manner:
Iranian Jews are of the oldest Iranians and love their pure culture and Iranian identity.
The western media had reported that Israel offered 60,000$ reward
for attracting Iranian Jewish families to the occupied lands of
Palestine.
But Iranian Jewish people do not show any interest in immigration to
the occupied territories of Palestine for the reason of enjoying full
religious freedom in Iran [Iranian Jewish Community, July 10th 2007].

It is interesting to see what different results reporters end up with, starting from a different perspective.
The lady here of course, is dear Zelda Herzl who in her zenith, like lady luck, received a gift from the thief who had no right to be the giver in the first place. And that, her father, the mean Theodor, who punted the foul idea that a God in whom he had less than little faith, on the contrary, whom he denied the very existence of, had promised the land be given the lady by the thief who had stolen it. No wonder then, he had no friend who scholarly at that time in 1917 would stand with him, the podium to uphold by scriptures leaned against it so as to support thereupon the speaker, Theo our dear father of Zelda. Now the harlot protests much. "I knowest enough" sayeth she, "and want not more to hurt my delicate frame, with cold hard memory". Of course, she knows a lot, and we forget less than she.
Such argument, made by pimp intellectual de Columbia Universal Scientiae, of late. So eloquently unconvincing an argument to those who had ears to hear, if any there had been there, by Earl of Bollocks Bollinger in his treatise de character suicide. "'is the most researched thing in all history" or something of this kind, now how my weak and ghastly severed mind serveth me feebly, most inaccurately, I'd ask of my readers that ye do me the kindness of granting me pardon. And for his conclusion then, "no more needs to be said nor observed by any other". Again, most inaccurately volleyed he, yet caught i the gist of yon pale line of reason, most tangengial findeth the one who seeks to wander in a forest or maze on sunny afternoon, with parasol to as succour from unkindly sunlight [mp3]. Is it Denmark this time of year, for hear I the geese. Is it so, pray tell me. It reeks foul. Perchance the inhabitors of more eastern regions that seek out the foul this mid-autumn festival to annoint their tables, and make sacrifices to the elders, ancestors? Nay, surely, it be Denmark's fate as well? Nay, ye are the learned ones. The relative of the Hun hath a tradition to impart to all humanity. One of subtle depth, and refin'ed tact. When employee is about to be dismissed, at dinner table, in audience of the entire workforce, he is presented a foul, whose head faceth the benefactor (not so much the benefactor as the foul, for he is most least held so by the employer). In fact, he that receives the foul, glaring squint at him, is the one who next receives the chop, most ungraciously not from the chef, but from the host of such a banquet. It stares at him, his own pageant, such as Bollinger did prepare, and laughs him all the way out of town. Does what the dear Zelda received, this equate: intellecual wanton revelry? For her earlier setting up of the, cause, the terror and the solution most bizarre, the billions in profits that came in coffers galore, and the blood in coffers most macabre. Cry foul! Foul! Yes, foul for sure, we all are in the know. You cry foul and so did we.

Q: In the light of the US Congress and pending French decisions concerning further sanctions against Iran, is the Nuclear Issue closed as a political issue?
A: The extended sanctions do not surprise us, but as far as we are concerned, the issue on a legal question, it is now an IAEA matter. In my opinion, my time here was not hard.
Q: Concerning academic freedoms, why is there so little academic freedom in Iran?
A: Open debate between Iranian president and students in Iran is common place. The academics mentioned in American media are still active in Iran and are not especially limited or restricted. For some legal issues common to all societies, some persons may appear before our independent judicial process in Iran.
Q: Concerning the president's comments about the IAEA as the only relevant agency, what about the Security Council
A: The sanctions by some global powers are completely illegal and their power is projected on others via the Security Council and by their veto rights within the Security Council. What is right for us to do is to cooperate with the IAEA and to resist.
Q: Nuclear facility in Syria attacked by Israel. What would Iran do if it were attacked
A: Next question please.
Q: What is Iran doing to curb climate change
A: We can reduce the consumption of fuel. All countries must commit to uphold the necessary standards to reduce harm to the environment.
Q: Iran's neighbours are concerned and the US has claimed that there is an Iranian military dissident, apparently a former defense minister who has evidence as to secret nuclear experiments in Iran.
A: These are propaganda games that are obsolete. We don;t have a defense minister who has left our country and neither are our neighbours concerned about the nuclear issue. The controversy is fabricated and illegal, even according to the IAEA report.
Q: Do you recognise Israel?
A: A usurpative illegal regime and the solution is based on humane concerns. We insist that the Palestinian nation must participate in a referendum to decide on their own fate. Palestinians, whether Muslims, Jewish or Christians, should decide without interference from others. As to the continued existence of Israel, let me ask how the Soviet Union is no more today? The people themselves voted the Union out of existence.
Q: Concerning Iraq
A: Iran and Iraq have a long history of cooperation. Those others who have made mistakes are seeking to blame others for their own failures. The solution is to respect Iraqis and to engage that nation with respect.
Q: Concerning Columbia University and the long line of support for your comments at the General Assembly
A: The debate at the University meeting speaks for itself. The meeting was welcomed widely by students. We must all practice the capacity to listen to things we do not like.

The entity known as israel exists as a result of racial discrimination. It's continued disregard for human rights is a blemish on all humanity. The Durban conference of 2001 (now over shadowed by the zionist-driven events of September 2001), clearly demonstrated that the world is strongly opposed to the new apartheid in the Holy Land. The implications of the actions of this terror state can be seen in the sad global conflict which threatens to continue spreading like a cancer. Of all the nations on God's beautiful earth, why does South Africa still cozy up to this terrorist state occupying Jerusalem?

The Iranian president, Ahmadi Nejad speaking to the Washington Press Corps on Monday Sept 24th 2007, made these wise comments:
"We do not recognize that regime because it is based on discrimination" and, "It consistently threatens its neighbors."
Good for you President Ahmadi Nejad. Of course, many of his statements continue to be misquoted and ridiculed as deceptive by those who try to conceal the truth about the zionist terrorists and their plans for global domination. Anyone who needs proof for what may seem strange and unbelievable, only needs to look at the wars being fought in order to dominate the oil rich region. Surely South Africa's leaders realise that when Africa stands up against this mighty force of evil, she will be attacked by the kind of military force we see in Iraq and Somalia. What cowards they are to continue to lie to us. We should be putting our voice more firmly behind the downtrodden instead of accepting bribes silently. This kind of dishonesty attracts politicians of low morality and in the end, greed leads to a spiral of moral corruption, and eventual social and political decay. Domestically and internationally, South Africa will lose ground until the truth becomes painfully obvious. Of course, economically South Africa will continue to grow from strength to strength as we did under Apartheid. But in the end, the pack of cards will come tumbling down.
My question remains, why does South Africa support this terror driven state calling itself Israel? I hazard to make two guesses: 1) my question will be ignored or largely countered by unreasonable responses 2) the reason South Africa supports Israel is because Israel supports South Africa i.e. nothing has changed since Apartheid was abolished. A new Apartheid has emerged since the ANC was unbanned. It is an economic apartheid and the country is still dominated by the same kind of selfish criminals as before.

Our prayers are that the Iranian people continue to protect the truth and oppose evil. And for the people of Azania and Palestine, may they also one day be free.

Perhaps a translation error? I really don't know. According to one report, the CIA found in November 2006, that there was in fact NO EVIDENCE Iran is developing nuclear weapons. [read French Agency report].
In fact NONE of these statements circulated by the Associated Press Agency are true:
(1) The president of Iran says the holocaust is a myth, (2) Israel should be destroyed, and his country (3) [Iran] should be allowed to build nuclear weapons.
1) President Ahmadenijad was speaking for an examination of the real facts behind the holocaust, and begging the hypothetical i.e. he said "if the holocaust happened in Europe, why should Palestinians have to pay the price for crimes that took place in Europe". If that is saying that the holocaust is a myth, then Europe must be a mythical place. Quite simply, he never questioned whether it happened, only the real circumstances around it and what followed the holocaust i.e. the occupation of Palestine.
2) The call is for the regime in Jerusalem to be removed from the page of history i.e. to see this call in it's context is to understand that it means to expose Israel's crimes and to replace it with a democratic and representative regime that abides by international laws. Iranians call for death to the evil that drives the barbaric regime of Israel. It is the same as saying, "death to terrorism" or calling for a "war on terrorism". Hence, Iran's president wishes to lay a wreath at the WTC ground zero site. Allowing him to do this will go a long way to show the world a true face of Islamic leaders. Unfortunately, he will not be allowed to do this.
3) As to nuclear weapons: Iran is OPPOSED TO NUCLEAR WEAPONS. It is a co-signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (where the U.S.A. has not significantly reduced it's arsenal having declared itself a nuclear nation, and Israel openly expands hers while refusing to sign the NPT). Iran is suspected by the same people who suspected Saddam of not having destroyed the WMD they sold to him previously. These suspicions have to be seen in light of the fact that Iran has the right to develop nuclear power capabilities according to these treaties.
It isn't surprising that efforts on the part of Iran have been met with narrow minded responses by US government officials.
On the positive side, the United Nations has received a gift from Iran (hand-woven carpet) with appreciation.
I am sure that many people haven't had the opportunity to see these videos, so I am posting them here for you. The most important one I will post separately as the President has been misquoted so many times about that.
The first is the press conference at the UN last year. The entire video is available at the UN Video archive. In Iranian manner, similar to African culture, it takes some time for the speaker to get to the main points. We tend to set the mood first, so viewers are advised to watch the entire clip to understand his intentions.
This next video is part 1 of 4 parts. Those who have little time can scan the shortened speech I have typed out below.
Text extract of speech
It
is evident that the behaviors of some powers constitutes the greatest
challenge before the security council, the entire organization, and its
affiliated agencies. The present structure and working methods of the
security council, which are legacies of the second world war, are not
responsive to the expectations of the current generation and the
contemporary needs of humanity. Today, it is undeniable that the
security council, most critically and urgently, needs legitimacy, and
effectiveness. It must be acknowledged that as long as the council is
unable to act on behalf of the entire international community, in a
transparent, just and democratic manner, it will neither be legitimate,
nor effective. Furthermore, the direct relation between the abuse of
veto, and the erosion of the legitimacy and effectiveness of the
council, has now been clearly and undeniably established.
We
cannot and should not expect the eradication or even containment of
injustice, imposition, and oppression without reforming the structure
and working methods of the council. Is it appropriate to expect this
generation to submit to the decisions and arrangements established over
half a century ago? Doesn't this generation or future generations have
the right to decide themselves about the world in which they want to
live?
Justice and democracy dictate that the role of the General
Assembly, as the highest organ of the United Nations, must be
respected. The General Assembly can then, through appropriate
mechanisms, take on the task of reforming the organization, and
particularly rescue the security council from it's current state. In
the interim, the Non-aligned Movement, the Organization of the Islamic
Conference, and the African Continent, should each have a
representative, as a permanent member of the security council, with
veto powers. The resulting balance will hopefully prevent further
trampling of the rights of nations.
It is essential that spirituality and ethics find their rightful place in international relations. Without ethics and spirituality contained in the light of the teachings of the divine prophets, justice, freedom and human rights cannot be guaranteed. Resolution of contemporary human crises lies in observing ethics and spirituality and the governance of righteous people of high competence and piety. Should respect for the rights of human beings become the predominant objective, then injustice, ill-temperament, aggression and war will fade away. Human beings are all God's creatures, and are all endowed with dignity and respect. No one has superiority over others. No individual or states can arrogate for themselves special privileges. Nor can they disregard the rights of others, and through influence and pressure, position themselves as "the international community".
All nations and states are entitled to peace, progress and security. We are all members of the international community and we are all entitled to insist on the creation of a climate of compassion, love and justice.
Peoples, driven by their divine nature, intrinsically seek good, virtue, perfection and beauty. Relying on our people's, we can take giant steps towards reform, and pave the road for human perfection. Whether we like it or not, justice, peace and virtue will sooner or later prevail in the world, with the will of the almighty God. It is imperative and also desirable, that we too should lead to the promotion of justice and virtue. The almighty and merciful God, who is the creator of the universe, is also it's Lord and Ruler. Justice is His command. He commands His creatures to support one another in good, virtue, and piety; and not in decadence and corruption. He commands His creatures to enjoin one another to righteousness and virtue; and not to sin and transgression.
All divine prophets, from the prophet Adam (peace be upon him) to the prophet Moses, to the prophet Jesus Christ, to the prophet Mohammed, have all called humanity to monotheism, justice, brotherhood, love and compassion. Is it not possible to build a better world based on monotheism, justice, love and respect for the rights of human beings; and thereby transform animosities into friendship? I emphatically declare that today's world, more than ever before, longs for just and righteous people with love for all humanity; and above all, longs for the perfect, righteous human being, and the real saviour who has been promised to all peoples and who will establish justice, peace and brotherhood on the planet.
President Ahmadinejad has been asked by the Columbia State University to address an audience there. The president of the senate of the university is quoted by the Associated Press (Sept 23rd):
President Lee Bollinger has resisted calls to cancel the event, but promised to introduce the talk himself with a series of tough questions on topics including Ahmadinejad's views on the Holocaust, his call for the destruction of the state of Israel and his government's alleged support of terrorism.
The university "is committed to confronting ideas — to understand the world as it is and as it might be," Bollinger said in a statement, emphasizing the invitation implied no endorsement of Ahmadinejad's opinions.
I am sure you hope along with me, for an uninterrupted listening to this person's response to such interesting questions. I have little doubt that the media in the most undemocratic nations will misquote him so many times that his real words will end up being unheard anyway. One of Hitler's side kicks is famous for saying that if a lie is repeated often enough it will become the truth. It's sickening when psychopaths are so correct in their observations that I have to agree. I am sure I will one day be quoted as in agreement with the Nazzis. Anyone who believes I am a nazzi will also say I am an anti-semite. To be frank, those who know, know. And those who don't, don't.
To some of those who have had lies drummed ad nauseum into their unconscious, the crowds listening to Ahmadinejad in this video appear as though they were engaged in "mass hysteria" as a result of years of indoctrination. Yet the same viewer may miss the fact that the participants in the talk show above, have no idea about Iran. it seems as though American viewers are extremely unaware of most things if such shows continue to be aired. I am certain that talk shows in Iran are of a higher standard (just my opinion).
As you view these videos, consider that it is in fact YOU who have been indoctrinated into thinking that Iranians have no minds, no free will. It is YOU who consider that God created women to be paraded naked in public, without modesty. It is YOU who have been duped into thinking that women who choose to live according to how they see God's will (with modesty), are oppressed. No! Women who don't realise they are being used by the media as sex objects, are the ones oppressed. I came across warning on a site on vox, against people posting images of the female body and it got me thinking: people dress in very revealing ways, and when pictures are taken of them, they feel exposed. How strange that they do not feel exposed just walking out into the street dressed in clothing that reveals their most private parts, yet they feel exposed when a photo is taken. How strange that they feel their privacy is breached when they themselves walked out in the public view dressed as they did. I object to pictures being taken also. I also would defend any woman dressing in any way she chooses. But isn't it wonderful that God in His wisdom, has guided us correctly in the way we SHOULD dress. If someone is in error, let him find his own way. There is no compulsion to accept my God. But if there are enough of us who wish to guide our young people correctly by being good examples, if our culture is advanced and civilised, then having such laws as Iran does, is a choice we make as a society.
