Is Associated Press misinformed about Iran, or is its role to misinform?

US agencies will raise these trumped-up charges of Iran's breach of NPT: Report by ISIS. The charges can be summarized by the term "failures to report legal uses of uranium".

In a 2004 article an Iranian Professor who heads a UK-based Institute, points out that the USA would like Iran to pull out of the NPT. He also argues that there is no real evidence that Iran has in fact breached the NPT.

AP is the most unreliable news srvice I know of, with the possible exception of Jpost. This has nothing to do with any bias, just pure observation. About 10% of the time they print the opposite of whant the rest of the world media writes, 85% of the time its a watered down or distorted veiw designed to appeal to the US public. Every AP story has a silver linning/happy ending. The worst offenders at AP can easily be spotted working from Miami. When ever there is some story about Cuba they can be spotted lying through there teeth about some horrific injustice concerning Castro, even though they have no reporters in Cuba. Strange because that means they must be sourcing their material from AFP, and that means they are deliberately lying.
Not sure if either of you saw this video I posted it to my blog, but here is the direct link to YouTube.

Thanks for the vid link. I wonder what most Americans would think if they were said to all blindly support Mr Bush and were mostly like Jerry Falwell or Pastor Hagee. Fortunatly people from cultures that are over 1000 years old are not that narrow minded, that is why they have lasted so long. :)
Well unfortunately too many do blindly follow those that you have mentioned, that is the problem. Well I think most have now given up on Jerry Falwell as a lost cause :)

However there are many that don't blindly follow those 'leaders' and yes they would be mortified to think that the rest of the world thought that of them. That is why I like a place such as Vox because it is possible to exchange ideas with others from around the world and see that we should not make generalisations about people from other lands. Although I have also had my eyes opened to how much hate and indoctrination there is out there.

There is something to be said about living on an island on the 'bottom' end of the world - it makes us more humble I think. It must be tough being a superpower to always be trying to stay on top of the ladder and having to do shady deals to remain there.

The land of Oz for me :)
[this is good]

very interesting / informative!

this seems like a good group :) I only hope to make a contribution at some point.
